Do you want to find out how one flock of chickens is fighting food waste and bears? Join us for Harper Turner Farms’ FREE educational event, “Feed the Chickens, Not the Trash,” this week at the West Milford Farmers Market at 4 pm.

Marta will be sharing how her program works, why it’s important, how you can do it with your own chickens, and how you can help local farms. She will also collect food scraps, including meat, cooked food, fruit, & vegetable. However, they can’t eat overly greasy or oily food, desserts, cakes, or candy. The fun starts at:
